What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Au pair is a young foreign who work in a family with a kid. Au pair is the one who look for a kid all the time like a parents. They provide physical and even emotional to the kid who cannot give by thier parents all the time. Au pair also do light house chores and cook when its needed. The first time I experienced being an Au pair to a Philippine-American Nationality, kids are sleeping with me, and I lived with them. Their mom is a single mom and only with them once or twice a year. I can provide not just physical care but also an emotional and spiritual needs of a kids. I also support and guide them to their school lessons and support them to their school activities. Au pairs need to have a passionate of childcare. You should enjoy with kids. And you should make an agreements to the family on how you discipline the kids to maintain the good attitude.

Family Description:

I have a broken family. I lived with my grandparents since I am 5years old until I went here in Macau. My grandparents used to take care of my cousins because some of my Aunts works in abroad, so i feel more love with my grandparents than my mom and dad. And now that I am in Macau, I am together with mom, she work as an au pair in China while I am a waitress in the hotel restaurant. I am still single and trying to build myself with working abroad. I am one of the hardworking Filipino who worked abroad just to support my family in Philippines. I have one brother who lived with my grandparents now. He is still studying with the bachelor of criminology and I, together with my mom we support his studies and needs. I have a nice dad, who is a seaman in the Philippines. And I have a step brother, a 5year old now, He is so sweet like I want more babies from my parents. We meet only once or twice a year because he is living in the North Mindanao in the Philippines. Despite of being a broken family I am so lucky to have a nice family because they support me when I am still studying. I can see them only once a year before. It feels sad but I used to it. I know how it feels when your parents donít support you emotionaly and spiritually. So when I got a chance to take care of the 2 kids in the Philippines, I didnít let them feel sad about their mom who is long distance from them. In our Family parents of mom and dad we bond a lot, I am the favorite cousin of my cousins because I treat them like my sister and brother. All my Uncle and Aunts already has their kids, i took care of them sometimes when they are busy. I offer because I like kids a lot! We are playing with my 3 dogs Mitsy, Chacha and Whitey. My grandparents who took care of me since I was a kid, they are banana and cacau growers. We help each other to pack a banana in our plantation, some of thier workers are just my uncle and aunts. We help each other and bond together on Sunday. If we have Family problems, we keep it in our house and solve it right away. I wanna work hard to support and to return their help when they take care of me when I was a kid.

Au Pair Letter:

Hi Family, I know its hard to balance being a parents and being a worker. I can offer not just a physical care of your kids but also emotional and spiritual that they need. I can also take care of your pet if you have one. I can do house chores too and love to cook foods. I am willing to send pictures and videos with the kids I took a good care in the Philippines. If ever you need someone like me, you can contact me and I am willing to make arrangements with you. Thank you!
